House Remodel

House Remodel

About This Project

A customer of mine, Ken, referred his daughter, Aprel to me for this house remodel.

Aprel had recently bought this house, but they did not like the way it looked because it was just a fixer-upper.  She told me she bought it because she liked the area and the price for the house, but if she was going to live there she wanted it to look pleasing to her.  We looked into different designs and changes to be made to her kitchen and interior walls.  We came up to an agreement to remove some walls and a bar, cut and relocate her cabinets and upgrade upper cabinets and to relocate floor vents for AC and heating.

The Process

Remove soffit from above sink.  Cut and custom design the existing cabinets.  Using existing cabinet from bar, we turned it into an island with granite counter-top finish.  Granite was added to the kitchen counter-tops and tile as a back-splash.  Cabinets were all repainted with high-quality durable paint.  Recessed lights were added on kitchen ceiling, light switches and plugs were relocated.  Holes on ceiling from previous walls were patched, entire ceiling and walls were textured, primed and painted, wood-look tile was installed throughout entire house, including bathrooms, with acceptation of the bedrooms.
